Evening guys,
Remember last month when I asked Schatzi out? Little over a month ago!
Last week, on the 24th Schatzi sent me flowers. That's sweet right? But they didn't show up . . . That's when we both started to wonder what had happened. Schatzi called the flower peoples and they said they had been delivered and that nothing could be done about it. We were both bummed. Felt bad that he had ordered and paid for flowers that were no where to be seen. When he told me about the flowers I originally thought he was just randomly sending them. Turns out he planned it to mark our one month. Which is weird because when we talked about those "marks" he said he didn't like to celebrate em. When I brought that up he responded with something along the lines of "I'll gladly celebrate anything that makes you happy" which of course made me go awwwwwww.
Today I received an email from the parcel station. I wasn't expecting anything so you can imagine how confused I was. So I swung by the parcel station and was caught by surprise when the girl grabbed this box off the shelf.
I quickly, well as fast as the heat would allow, walked back to the common room. I kept wondering how flowers in a box would work. It was pretty cool, not gona lie. The bouquet was wrapped in the usual plastic sleeve. What was different was what was in the actual bouquet. There was a long piece of sturdy plastic! To hold the flowers in place. Around the base of the flowers was a zip tie holding the stems to the box.
The left side of the box had bubble wrap. Not sure what I was thinking, but I didn't expect a vase . . . The vase held the ends of the stems. On the side of the bubble wrap was a plastic sleeve with food packets. Smart packing I'd say.
This is what they looked like after I cut their stems, mixed their food, and put em in their vase. I think they were still trying to recover. I mean who wouldn't need time to recover being stuck in a box for four days?? I love how bright they are! Although they are all pink, the various shades make them beautiful.
Here they are now, almost six hours later! Think they needed water and fresh air. Is it weird if I say that I'm so happy for them? Well I am! He said he wanted to try to stray away from roses (he likes roses while I like other flowers). Nice mix no?
They have only been here with me for a handful of hours, but it's amazing what a bouquet of flowers can do. Brightened my day, literally >.<
Thank you babe :) I love them so much. Happy monthiversary to u too. Feels like I've known you for years now. Now to enjoy many more!

Good Afternoon,
After a very exciting eventful morning I decided it was time to grab some grub. Got a lot today. Salad full of all sorts of things, fruit, and rice.

Abundance-O-Laundry
Morning guys,
I have been putting it off for a while now. Maybe two weeks and here it is! My laundry took up nearly three squares of the couch! I have been slowly building up my arsenol of clothing. I like to empty all of my clothes onto the couch then attempt to sort em in a way that makes at least a little bit of sense.
Here's the three piles I made! Not sure if it makes perfect sense to others, but I get it. Usually start with a pile of whites then add some towels and then add items that are so old I know they won't bleed. I make a pile of reds/pinks/oranges then add blues/purples. Whatever works depending on how new/old the items are. The last pile is all hoodies and sweaters! The bad thing about having more than two loads is that I have to make more than one trip. Put two loads in the washer and when I go down to put those into the dryer I will start the third load. That way I will have a 30 minute break to fold the first two loads!
It slipped my mind to post this when I first got it, but better late than never. I told Schatzi that it was getting hard to remember to take my vitamins. More like hard to remember if I had already taken em >.< Was thinking a pill container, like old people use, would be good for me. He went to Target when I was still sleeping and look at that! He remembered and got me this awesome pill container! I love this because it has the days and unlike other case, this one is easy open. See the green tabs? All you have to do is push down on them and the sections pop open! Now I never have to question if I took em or not.
Gotta go grab that laundry!

Lush!
You guys!
I have heard about these super cute bath bombs for a while now, but I haven't really seen em before. Remember a few weeks back when Schatzi and I went to Fashion Valley? There was a Lush store there and Schatzi tried to get me to go, but I knew I'd end up wanting to buy a bunch of stuffs. I didn't know there was one at UTC so I HAD to go in when I saw it. Isn't the set up so friendly??
I walked in to take a look while Schatzi was in Brookstone, and needless to say I was in there for quite a while. This girl that helped me happened to be a third year attending UCSD! She was super nice and catered to me. She tried a handful of products on my hands and arms then suggested a whole list of different products that I should try. If money wasn't an issue I'd have bought one of everything! >.<
In the end I told her I would take the Oatifix face mask and the Fresh Farmacy soap. I just used the mask on my face and I am totally loving it! It should help with my dry spots on my face. Used the soap in the shower and enjoyed the smell while I scrubbed away. The soap should help prevent and control acne. The cool thing about my purchase is the total cost. The small container of face mask was around $7. The soap is oddly shaped because it comes in a huge block/flower shape and they cut off a piece for the customers! I told Kristen that I wanted to keep my purchase around or under $15 since I don't like to spend a lot when I am first trying skin products. My total turned out to be $14.80! Pretty darn good if you ask me!
I think I am in love with this store. I mean look at all their cute stuff!! The next time I go on vacation I will have to stop by Lush for a bath bomb for sure! The ones they have around the holidays would make perfect gifts!
This is the sample area. The masks are made with fresh ingredients so they MUST be refrigerated. I sat next to here for a good 20-30 minutes. Loved it!
There is something that makes their store stand out from all the other skin care beauty stores. This evening I did someone's nails for $10. So that makes me feel like I paid a whole $4.80 for my soap and face mask! Not bad atall right?

Sorry for making you sit there for so long Schatzi. I can say that I had a blast in there though. I have to go back before going home for the summer.

Deaf World
Good Evening Erryone!
Schatzi and I attended a Deaf event today. I don't remember the name of the college . . . leme ask Schatzi . . . Grossmont College! We had no clue what the event was going to be. I will admit that it was pretty darn cool. When you first walk in you get into a line to receive a sticker with the number coresponding to the level of sign you are at. Then you get a pencil, a raffle ticket, and a card. The card tells you a problem scenario you have. Around the rooms there are posters labeling the different places. For example, they had a Vet, DMV, a Bakery, etc.
Here's a few of the different cards.
I was curious as to how they would go about the ticket drawing for the raffle. Since nobody was allowed to use their voices. (Oh and if you talk you have to go to JAIL) When it came time for the raffle a lady got up to the second floor as we all gathered around her on the first floor. It was like how people gather to see the pope in movies lol She signed the numbers of the winning ticket. Was interesting.
I think that this was the best Deaf event I have been to!

China Chef
Good evening,
Schatzi and I went on a lil dinner date. While I was in class he found a handful of restaurants I could choose from. I chose Chinese food from China Chef. I got to start off with a yummy crunchy egg roll with sauce! Had soup, rice, and orange chicken.
Schatzi has mentioned a dish called General Tso Chicken (hope that was the name) for a while now so that's what he ordered. His looks more interesting than mine. All the fancy stuffs (veggies lol). He enjoyed his mushrooms and all the other ingredients except for the snow peas. That surprised me. What made it even more surprising was the fact that he doesn't like to eat cooked but I do. So I ate em all for him!
At the end we got our fortune cookies. Eating my cookie reminded me of the baby back home. I usually share my cookie with her. Then again it was nice to enjoy my whole cookie on my own. Guess which fortune belongs to whom.
Schatzi does this thing when we ride the motorcycle. It's the sweetest thing too. When we ride he will steer with one hand so that he can rub my knee/leg with the other. I am not worried he will crash. I trust him and his skills. Every time he does it it's like I never see it coming. You can imagine me sitting back there smiling like a goofball too >.<
When he came over today he brought me my very own gloves (well kind of my very own)! He's been worried about my hands getting too cold. Isn't he so thoughtful? Size S yet my pinky fingers are still too short lol After the rides this evening I can say that I am grateful for them. Didn't realize before that my hands got all that cold. Thank you again for getting gloves for me to wear.
It's crazy sitting here in the dorm and hearing the rain outside our window. The rain and wind even bangs against the window making a loud popping sound. I'm hoping it doesn't rain much tomorrow . . .
I realized now that it's no longer evening, but 12:32 am. So morning!

Fashion Swap
Hi again,
Hope you don't get tired of hearing from me when I do these back to back posts. This is an old post from Wednesday! I convinced Sarah to go to an I-House event with me. A quick description of the event is to take unwanted clothing items to exchange for tickets to get a new clothing item! We figured it wouldn't be all that great, but we were wrong!! It was so much fun! Shopping without needing money?!?
It was cute. Outside the room they had a variety of snacks! The pigs in a blankie were delicious. The meringues were a nice elegant snack. Sarah and I took a bag of popcorn back with us to the dorm.
They had a great turn out! This was only part of the room. Can you guys spot Sarah?
Sarah took three items? Or was it four? Well regardless, these are her steals! She found this cute lace tank with a solid color under. She said it's something she has been wanting for a long time now. I know she has also had her eye out for a high low skirt. This pattern screams Sarah! The skirt may not be as dramatic as the other high low skirts, but I think it suits her rather well. Lastly, she fell in love with the black circle scarf. Cute items!
Then there is my favorite item! I found this awesomely adorable dress! I love how the pattern is different than any dress I have previously owned. Have to wear a belt with it though or else I have no figure. The lace at the bottom adds a flirty girly touch. I think I would wear this out on a date. It's date attire right?

I took a total of four items. I have always been interested in trying this type of skirt, but never actually bought any. Sarah said it looks weird because it has the stripe like workout pants have. I made it work though by pairing it with my wedge sneakers! I'm sure you have all seen them long cardigans. I got one now! Sarah said it looks a bit preppy because the patch/symbol on the top. I can't tell you what attracted me to this, but something did. I think it's an interesting piece. I feel like it's not even from the country . . . Not sure where or why I would wear it either lol

Strawberry Puffs + Colored Glue Sticks
Afternoon,
I have a few posts that should come before this one, but they will have to wait. I am currently sitting outside my Chem classroom. Figured I have time. I grabbed this yummy bad for me snack and colored glue sticks! COLORED glue sticks! Didn't know they made those. Did you?
My Chem teacher kind of speeds through the PPT slides so I am trying a different approach to notes taking today. She uploads the slides for lecture the night before so I downloaded it and printed them. Six slides to a page. This is where the glue sticks come in. I cut out the slides and will glue em into my notebook and just write next to the slides!
I hope it works better. That way I can pay more attention to what she's actually saying.

Ice Cream + Lemonade
Good afternoon,
I felt like ice cream after lunch today so I took the minute walk on over to John's Market for 99 cent scoop ice cream! Remember that trick bout the coffee collar? There it is again! I have a 2 hour gap between my classes so I usually eat then do a little homework. After ice cream I went to the Language Lab and finished ASL work for Friday.
Half way through I told Schatzi I suddenly got a craving for lemonade. Which is weird because I am not really a fan of lemonade . . . Didn't want to get full out lemonade just in case it would hurt my throat so I mixed a few things. Lemonade, raspberry ice tea, and peach ice tea! Not bad actually and it looked kinda pretty too.
Time for chem.

Push It
Hi there,
Had a math midterm this evening from 8-9. Guess what I did right before leaving the dorm. I locked myself out. My roommates were in class and at the library so I had no choice but to run to the SAC to get keys. The midterm . . . half was super easy, the other half confused the poop out of me. You can guess how I must have felt after that.
It has been a very very VERY long time since the gym and I had a date. Maybe a month? Left the dorm room and went straight to the treadmill. My goal was 5 miles in an hour. I don't know if this is a good way to go about my goal, but I usually start off walking at 3.5ish. Speed up to 5.0 mph till I reach a total of a mile. Break for 0.1 miles at 3.5 mph. Then back up to 5.0 or 5.5 till the 2.0 mile mark. I continue this for an hour. I had to really push myself at times. I wanted to just walk, but I told myself I had to push through. At the end of the hour I had covered 4.5 miles, burned 490 calories, had a max heart rate of 170, and kept a decent pace. Is that a decent set of numbers? Not a runner or anything so I have no clue when it comes to these things.
Back at the dorm I had a little muffin brownie waiting for me. Sarah baked brownies this evening, and she even put sprinkles in mine! More like cake, but not bad. Loved the sprinkles!
Shower. MMW reading. Bed. I hope.
