You Had One Job -.-

Hi guys,

Before I start I will admit that I am somewhat low on sleep, could be PMSing, and stressing due to finals.

 Finished my math final an hour and a half early and was super hungry. So ended up going to Cafe V for one of my newly found favorite sandwiches. The grilled cheese + bacon! Reminds me of the potato wedges from Jack In The Crack (that's what some of my fam calls Jack In The Box). Grabbed a form for the grill, marked bacon and grilled cheese then went to grab other foods while I wait. The girl called me over when it was done and it looked weird. Why? Because the breads were facing opposite directions. If that doesn't make sense, imagine the rounded part of the bread pointing up on the bottom slice and down on the top slice. Wasn't going to make a big deal out of it because I am capable of turning a piece of bread around. I walked to a different empty counter and opened my sandwich. That's when I saw the horror!! JK . . . kind of lol She messed up. The cheeses were on opposite sides when open, but that means they are on the SAME side when closed! Who does that?!?? All I wanted was a simple grilled cheese + bacon sandwich! Had to change up the arrangement of the bacon so I could get cheese and bacon in every bite! Yeaaa I crazy. Shouldn't have been so upsetting, yet it was -.-

"Indoor Picnic"

Good evenin!

So tonight was the night. Schatzi made yummy bbq chicken sandwiches for our dinner. It was adorable. We pretty much had a mini indoor picnic (mental note to add indoor picnic to my list of things to do)! Chicken sandwiches, fruit salad, salad, and tea. He surprised me when he pulled out paper towels, plates, silverware, a serving spoon, AND mayonnaise out of his backpack! Was not expecting that at all.


I served salad and fruit salad and Schatzi was all fancy and made me my sandwich! He put mayonnaise on the roll then scooped on some chicken for me. It did have onions and I don't particularly care for onions, but I tried it with! Then I kinda picked em out . . . Although we guessed that I had gotten all the onions because Schatzi said his didn't have any. Go figure right? But he's right, the flavor would have been off without the onions. Biggie asked me how I felt about having a boyfriend that cooks better than I can. Told her I felt lucky. Which is how I feel every day :)

Thank you for bringing me dinner babe. I ate slow, and picked out the onions but I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. There's something about the simple times like this where I can spend time with my boyfriend without worrying about anything else. Thank you for that. I love you

Be Gone!

Hi there,

Today is the day. My MMW paper is due today at 5pm. I've put a lot of time and effort into this paper. Had to do four different assignments to get to this point. At any point during the class, if I were to fail to do one of the assignments I would automatically fail. A tad bit harsh don't you think? Well I finished a while ago and it's been waiting to finally get turned it. My poor TA said she would bring a suitcase to take all of our papers home to grade!

Next is taking my pile of library books. Not looking forward to that.

Cut Foot

Hi again,

Forgot to tell y'all that I cut my foot today! I was so clumsy today in math class. At first I thought it was just a scratch. I mean I've hurt myself with a lead pencil before, but this time it stung a little more than usual. When it happened I told myself not to look down, but then I did. Saw the blood. No wasn't that much, but still kinda dripped a bit. Wish the picture was clear so you guys could see better, but there's my cut!

Good evenin everyone!

Finished at Chem help room an hour early today. I was starving! Raced back to the dorm so I could eat my toast and leftover chicken tortilla soup which I took the chicken out of. While I was waiting for the soup to heat, I inhaled some pringles, a cookie, and a few starburst jelly filled gummies! Schatzi is going to come over with dinner tomorrow night! Oh yea, forgot to mention how he came all the way over here last night to give me some more Dump Cake! He's the sweetest :) Sooo since he is making the main parts of dinner, my job is to get salad and make fruit salad! He actually requested it! Makes me so happy when he asks for little things like that. I get the greatest pleasure from making food for my boyfriend. I'ma get to it now. Need to cut all these fruits and mix it up. Don't worry, I'll wait till tomorrow to cut the banana so it doesn't brown. Sadly Cafe V only had green apples but it'll do. Talk to you guys later!

Graze?

Hi guys,

While I sit and wait for the Chem TAs, I thought I would try to write this post. Been a few weeks, but haven't found the time to sit down and do it. I will say that I would like to elaborate but no time today! First off this is the box. I tore off the label that had my information on it. If you can see, there are two plastic sleeve like bands. These keep the box closed jic something happens in the mail. Graze is a company that sends snacks in the mail. Who wouldn't want snacks mailed to them?? The cool thing is that it is only $6 every 2 weeks! They have tons of snacks to choose from and what's even better is that you can choose what they send you. I love surprises (well the good kind) so I decided to let them choose for me. I am super picky so my favorite part is that on the site you can rank each snack to tell Graze if you want to TRASH, TRY, LIKE, or LOVE. So obviously trash would mean never send this to me. Try is like yea I'll give it a try. Like is I've tried this and it was good. Love is OMG I loved this give me more!




This was my first box. When I opened the box this is what I saw. The little paper has the nutrition facts and coupon codes for my friends. The coupon code lets my friends get their 1st and 5th box for FREE! Very cute I'd say.






So starting off with Jelly Doughnut. I am not a big fan of this one. Tried it and not going back. The "cake" pieces have a weird consistency.


Who doesn't like Tomato & Basil right? This one had basil cruchini, cheese cashews, and mini tomato bread sticks. I enjoyed the cashews and the tomato bread sticks, but the basil bread was interesting. Reminded me a little of fish. Could just be me though.

The next is Eleanor's Apple Crumble. It had dried apples, raisins, and cinnamon honey glazed almonds. Guess which part was my favorite?! Of course the almonds! Although eating it all together was pretty good.

The last snack in my Graze box was Boston Baguettes with BBQ Relish! This was the first snack I tried. I think I was a little hesitant because I saw some random chunks in the relish. I like to know what I'm eating, but this time I just went for it. I liked it, but I think I can do without. At least until I have tried all of the available snacks.

I like the idea of getting a handful of somewhat low calorie snacks sent to my PO box at school. It's a surprise every time and it doesn't burn a hole in my wallet. I like to share so I packed little sample cups for Schatzi to try! This was after I had received my second Graze box so I had a few more snacks for him to sample. I wasn't sure how I was going to get all the little cups to him so I packed em in a Sephora bag! He doesn't care so it all worked out well. Kind of wish I took a picture to show you guys, but I forgot. Maybe next time I will remember.

I'll have the second box post up later, hope before the 10th lol Need a break between studying and homework. Gotta go, Chem time!

Return of the 7 Layer Jello

Morning everyone,

Before I get into the main point of this post just wanted to say that the next two weeks are going to be crazy stressful and busy. Schatzi and I went to Gaslamp on Friday night to see another comedian. That post will be up . . . eventually lol

So here's a quick lil post. I had a random craving for jello so I asked Schatzi if I could make jello at his house. Of course he said yes! When we were at target we got all the ingredients for jello. He chose lime, strawberry, and blue raspberry. I was trying to decide the order of the colors when Schatzi pointed out that it would end up being red white and blue. Soooo I decided to color the milk layers! Couldn't do the pattern right since it wasn't planned for, but here it is! This time around we made it in a smaller glass dish so they are quite thick. Thank you for making me take photos babe :) He knew I would end up using them later.
